E( estudio tiene como Objetivo general Determinar el nivel de
conocimiento sobre infección de trasmisión sexual y uso del preservativo en
adolescentes del 4o y 5o de secundaria del colegio particular Nuestra Señora
Del Carmen-SMP Material y Método: Nivel aplicativo, el estudio es de tipo
cuantitativo, método descriptivo de corte transversal.. Se utilizó la técnica de la
entrevista y como instrumento un cuestionario, al cual se le hizo la confiabilidad
respectiva. Población muestral conformada por 50 adolescentes de 4to y 5to
de secundaria de ambos sexosResultados: El nivel de conocimiento que
tienen los adolescentes sobre infección de trasmisión sexual es bajo 80% (40),
y el 20% (10) es considerado como medio. En cuanto al nivel de conocimiento
sobre el uso del preservativo se evidenció que un 60% (30) de adolescentes
tiene conocimiento bajo,y 40% (20) como conocimiento considerado como
medio. Conclusiones: El estudio revela que el nivel de conocimiento acerca de
las infecciones de transmisión sexual es bajo en 3/4 los adolescentes de la IEP
haciéndolo vulnerable a dichas infecciones, asimismo se observó que el nivel
que presentan acerca del conocimiento del preservativo también es bajo.
Asimismo se observó que 4/5 de los adolescentes ya había tenido relaciones
sexuales y más de la 1/2 no utilizo el preservativo en su inicio sexual.
