Programa basado en el método Pólya en la resolución de problemas matemáticos de estructura multiplicativa en los estudiantes del 6to de primaria en la Institución Educativa N° 2091- Los Olivos – 2013

El objetivo central del trabajo de investigación fue proponer un
programa basado en el método Pólya para facilitar la resolución de problemas
matemáticos de estructura multiplicativa en los estudiantes del 6to grado de
primaria de la Institución Educativa N° 2091 “Mariscal Andrés Avelino Cáceres –
Los Olivos – 2013. Este programa permite mejorar la capacidad resolutiva de
problemas matemáticos en los estudiantes.
Para esta propuesta se hizo una investigación de tipo cuantitativo,
aplicado a un diseño cuasi experimental de pretest y postest. Se realizó la prueba
diagnóstica a 10 estudiantes por sección de las cinco aulas del 6to grado de
primaria. Con los resultados obtenidos, se eligió a dos aulas homogéneas, con un
total de 28 estudiantes en el grupo control y 29 en el grupo experimental. Después
de aplicar el pretest, se inicia con la propuesta didáctica de 12 sesiones de dos
horas pedagógicas cada uno, siendo estas dos veces a la semana. Una vez
finalizada la etapa de recolección de datos, se tabuló la información obtenida en el
pretest y postest. Ello nos permitió comparar la capacidad resolutiva de problemas
matemáticos de estructura multiplicativa.
Los resultados estadísticos luego de aplicar la propuesta metodológica
fueron analizados mediante la estadística descriptiva para determinar el nivel de
significancia de los resultados, la hipótesis se validó con la “U de Mann Whitney” y
se demostró que: el programa basado en el método Pólya influye
significativamente en el desarrollo de la resolución de problemas matemáticos de
estructura multiplicativa en los estudiantes del 6to grado de primaria.
