Propuesta de uso de la pintura electrostática para mejorar la productividad en el pintado de los tableros eléctricos en la empresa J&W CIA S.A.

El concepto de productividad involucra el óptimo aprovechamiento de los factores de producción
y resulta de la relación entre los productos logrados y los insumos que fueron utilizados. Se
observó que la pintura líquida utilizada por la empresa J&W CIA. S.A. genera un desperdicio
inevitable, habiendo en el mercado como sustituto la pintura electrostática, que requiere de una
sola aplicación, menor tiempo de permanencia en el horno. Así surgió la pregunta: ¿De qué
manera influye la pintura electrostática en la productividad del pintado de los tableros eléctricos
en la empresa J&W CIAS.A.? Se decidió determinar si el uso de la pintura electrostática mejora la
productividad del pintado de los tableros eléctricos. El trabajo partió del supuesto que el uso de la
pintura electrostática mejora la productividad del pintado de los tableros eléctricos en la referida
empresa. Es una investigación cuantitativa, diseño pre-experimental, de comparación estática o
solo después. Se realizó con una muestra de 20 tableros eléctricos: 10 con pintura líquida y 10 con
pintura electrostática. Los datos se recogieron mediante una ficha para medir la productividad en
el pintado de los tableros eléctricos, de 3 ítems. La validez se verificó mediante juicio de 3
expertos, quienes dieron un promedio de calificación de 90 %, estableciéndose la validez del
instrumento para recoger la información requerida. Los resultados del estudio evidenciaron una
diferencia muy significativa (**p < .01) entre los tableros con pintura líquida y con pintura
electrostática, demostrándose que el uso de pintura electrostática mejoró la productividad del
pintado de los tableros eléctricos en la empresa J&W CIA S.A. Dicha comprobación servirá para
que la empresa incorpore la pintura electrostática en el proceso de producción de los tableros
eléctricos, mejorando la calidad del acabado de estos e incrementando su margen de utilidad.
