Las teorías del Trade Off (costo-beneficio) y del Pecking Order (orden jerárquico) relacionadas a las empresas que cotizan en la Bolsa de Valores de Lima, en los últimos 5 años

El presente trabajo pretende abordar un análisis comparado del grado de
explicación aportado por dos de las grandes teorías que coexisten en relación a
la decisión de financiación o estructura de capital. De un lado la teoría estática
o del Trade Off desde la vertiente más tradicional y clásica de la economía
financiera aporta factores tales como la tangibilidad de los activos, el tamaño,
las oportunidades de crecimiento y la rentabilidad económica. De otro, y de la
mano de las aportaciones más recientes procedentes de la moderna economía
contractual, la teoría de la jerarquización financiera o teoría del Pecking Order
viene a sugerir la existencia de un orden de jerarquías en la elección de
financiación cuando la empresa afronta un déficit financiero a la hora de
emprender nuevos proyectos de inversión. Con una muestra de 113 empresas
que cotizan en la Bolsa de Valores de Lima para el periodo 2004-2008. Donde
las empresas que cotizan en la Bolsa de Valores de Lima responden a la teoría
del Pecking Order. Donde el factor como el tamaño en el sector agrario, los
factores como las oportunidades de crecimiento y el tamaño en el sector
diverso, los factores como las oportunidades de crecimiento y el tamaño en el
sector industrial y por último los factores como la rentabilidad, tangibilidad y
tamaño en el sector minero responden a la teoría del Trade Off. Y el factor
como el tamaño en el sector agrario, los factores como las oportunidades de
crecimiento y rentabilidad en el sector diverso, los factores como las
oportunidades de crecimiento y tangibilidad en el sector industrial y por ultimo
el factor como las oportunidades de crecimiento en el sector minero responden
a la teoría del Pecking Order.
