Factores modificables relacionados a la obesidad infantil entre los menores de 2 a 5 años

Objetivo: Determinar los factores modificables relacionados a la obesidad infantil
entre los menores de 2 a 5 años.
Metodología: El estudio tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental,
analítico, transversal y retrospectivo. La población consistió en todos los menores
atendidos (245) en área CRED. La muestra incluyó preescolares de 2 a 5 años, los
cuales sumaron un total de 150 pacientes del Centro de Salud Florida, en el año
2023.
Resultados: Se concluyó que dentro de la relación entre la obesidad infantil y los
factores modificables la prevalencia fue en niños con un 61,9%, clase baja con un
74,6%, grado de instrucción secundaria con un 71,4%, dieta hiperproteica con un
41,3%, y obesidad pregestacional con un 68,3%.
Conclusiones: El 61,9% de los niños estudiados tenían obesidad. Se identificaron
factores sociodemográficos relacionados significativamente a la obesidad infantil,
destacándose una mayor prevalencia en niños del género masculino
pertenecientes a familias con un nivel socioeconómico clasificado como E (clase
baja), con madres de educación secundaria y de nacionalidad peruana. Además,
en relación con los factores ambientales, se resalta la influencia crítica de los
hábitos alimenticios a base de dietas hiperproteicas. En cuanto a los factores
perinatales, se resalta la prevalencia de obesidad infantil en menores cuyas madres
presentaron antecedentes de obesidad pregestacional.
