Introducción: La enfermedad renal crónica terminal (ERCT) integra un problema
de salud pública global a gran escala. Ademas de su necesidad de Terapia de
Reemplazo Renal (TRS) y los costos elevados. La etapa terminal representa el
estado final de la progresión de la disfunción renal siendo la supervivencia reducida
exponencialmente. Son pocos los estudios que abordan temas relacionados a este
tema en nuestra población, desconociendose en nuestra región los predictores de
mortalidad. Objetivo: Establecer los predictores de mortalidad en pacientes con
enfermedad renal crónica estadio 5 sometidos a hemodiálisis en el norte del Perú.
Estudio de Cohortes de 10 años. Métodos: Estudio de cohorte retrospectiva en
pacientes con estadio 5 (ERC-5) que ingresaron al programa de hemodiálisis
durante los años 2009 hasta el año 2022 en hospital II Jorge Reátegui Delgado de
EsSalud Piura-Perú. Se incluyeron a 136 se excluyeron a 48. Se requerirá un total
de 88 pacientes. El desenlace principal fue mortalidad. Los predictores propuestos
son: Sexo, edad, Indice de Charlson. El tiempo de seguimiento fue de 10 años. Los
datos serán recolectados a partir de la historia clínica electrónica de EsSALUD. Se
presentaran medidas de resumen para las variables cualitativas y cuantitativas.
Asimismo se llevará a cabo un análisis de supervivencia, estimando curvas con
Kaplan-Meier y comparadas con Long-Rank. Se calcularan los Hazard Ratio crudos
y ajustados mediante un modelo de regresión de Cox. Los datos se procesarán en
el software estadístico R 4.1.
