Actitudes hacia el Covid-19 como predictores del cansancio emocional en universitarios de un centro superior de la ciudad de Chiclayo

El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar en qué medida las actitudes hacia
el COVID 19 predicen el cansancio emocional en estudiantes universitarios,
trabajando para ello bajo un diseño metodológico no experimental, de nivel
correlacional – explicativo. Para llevar a cabo el estudio se contó con la
participación de 297 estudiantes universitarios de la ciudad de Chiclayo a los cuales
se les aplico una escala de actitudes hacia la pandemia COVID 19 y una escala de
cansancio emocional, ambos instrumentos con propiedades psicométricas
adecuadas para su uso. Los resultados nos han permitido evidenciar que las
actitudes hacia el COVID 19 predice en un 4.1 % el cansancio emocional con un
efecto pequeño. Por otro lado, se encontró ademas que la dimensión Emotivo –
Afectivo predice en un 8.8% el cansancio emocional, siendo la dimensión con
mayor efecto sobre la variable dependiente. En conclusión, podemos afirmar que
en cierto grado las actitudes hacia el COVID 19 predice en un margen pequeño el
cansancio emocional y es a través de la dimensión emotiva afectiva que al generar
emociones negativas hacia el COVID 19 conlleva a una sensación de cansancio y
agotamiento emocional elevado en cierta medida en los estudiantes universitarios.
