Programa de intervención para educar estudiantes auxiliares de enfermería sobre los cuidados post mortem en un instituto privado en Ecuador

El presente estudio evalúa la efectividad del programa de intervención educativa
"Manos que Cuidan" dirigido a estudiantes auxiliares de enfermería en cuidados post
mortem. La investigación se llevó a cabo en un instituto privado en Ecuador, con una
muestra de 15 estudiantes. Los objetivos específicos fueron: incrementar el
conocimiento teórico, mejorar las habilidades prácticas y desarrollar competencias
emocionales y de comunicación en cuidados post mortem. Se utilizaron metodologías
basadas en simulaciones de alta fidelidad, prácticas supervisadas y sesiones de
manejo emocional. Los resultados mostraron una mejora significativa en todas las
áreas evaluadas, destacándose especialmente en el cumplimiento de las medidas de
higiene y seguridad, así como en la gestión emocional y la comunicación con las
familias. Se concluye que la intervención educativa es una herramienta efectiva para
preparar a los estudiantes en los cuidados post mortem, recomendándose su
implementación en programas de formación de enfermería.
