Análisis del metadiscurso interpersonal en la traducción del español al inglés de páginas web de hoteles peruanos, Lima 2018

El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo principal analizar el metadiscurso
interpersonal en las páginas web de hoteles peruanos, Lima 2018. El corte de investigación
fue cualitativo, presentó un diseño no experimental de tipo aplicado. El instrumento principal
de recolección de datos fue una ficha de análisis, el cual permitió analizar las estrategias
metadiscursivas interpersonales de las traducciones al inglés para las categorías voz del autor
e implicación del cliente. El corpus final fue de 18 páginas web y las secciones elegidas
fueron inicio, servicios y alrededores, por presentar un contenido más representativo. Los
principales resultados indican que debido al objetivo persuasivo del contenido de las
secciones analizadas, predominaron los realzadores a través del uso de adjetivos calificativos
de carácter valorativos y descriptivos tanto en la versión original como en su respectiva
traducción. Asimismo, otros elementos prototípicos del discurso turístico en inglés como la
pronominalización de la segunda persona, no se presentaron de manera contudente, es decir,
solo se mimetizaron las pronominalizaciones del español. Como conclusión final se
estableció que es de vital importancia conocer los marcadores prototípicos de un texto cuyo
objetivo es persuadir a fin de preservar su esencia y evitar traducciones deficientes.
