Estrategias de afrontamiento y agresividad en soldados del servicio militar voluntario de Trujillo
Abstract
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo determinar si existe relación
entre agresividad y estilos de afrontamiento en soldados del servicio militar
voluntario. Para lo cual se trabajó con una muestra conformada por 133 soldados
del sexo masculino; procedentes de la la 32ª Brigada de Infantería de la ciudad de
Trujillo, los cuales tienen edades entre 18 y 23 años.
El tipo de investigación utilizado fue descriptivo correlacional, en donde se
utilizó el Test de Agresión de Buss y Perry y el Inventario de Respuestas de
Afrontamiento para adultos.
En cuanto a los resultados obtenidos, se encontró que la agresión física,
verbal, hostilidad e ira de los soldados se encuentran en mayor porcentaje en un
nivel medio, siendo el 45.9%, 48.1%, 43.6% y 49.6% respectivamente. Así mismo,
se ha encontrado que las estrategias de afrontamiento más utilizadas son evitación
cognitiva y aceptación – resignación con un 16.5% y solución de problemas la
estrategia menos utilizada con un 7.5%. Por último, se halló que las estrategias de
análisis lógico, reevaluación cognitiva, búsqueda de guía, solución del problema y
búsqueda de recompensa no presentan una correlación con la variable agresividad;
por el contrario, las estrategias de evitación cognitiva, aceptación o resignación y
descarga emocional mantienen una correlación significativa inversa con la
agresividad.
