La presente investigación se hizo con el objetivo de determinar si existe relación entre
el nivel de conocimiento de las puérperas sobre derechos reproductivos y la
percepción de la calidad de atención que brindan los profesionales de salud durante
su parto en el Hospital Leoncio Prado de Huamachuco en el periodo de agosto –
octubre 2015. El diseño de investigación fue no experimental de corte transversal y
correlacional. La población estuvo conformada por 250 puérperas que fueron
atendidas en el servicio de Gineco – obstetricia, tomándose una muestra de 114
puérperas que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión. Los instrumentos de
recolección de datos fueron dos encuestas, las cuales fueron validadas por juicio de
expertos. En el análisis de los resultados, se ha determinado mediante la prueba de
Chi cuadrado que no existe relación entre las dos variables independientes por lo tanto
se acepta la hipótesis nula. Se ha identificado que casi la mitad de ellas (47.4%) tienen
un nivel de conocimiento medio, mientras que en un porcentaje regular (32.5%) tienen
un nivel de conocimiento alto y en una proporción menor (20.2%) que tienen un nivel
de conocimiento bajo sobre derechos reproductivos. En cuanto a la percepción de la
calidad de atención que brindan los profesionales de salud durante el parto, un
porcentaje alto (48.2%) percibieron una regular calidad de atención durante su parto,
y una proporción regular (35.1%) que manifiesta haber percibido una mala calidad de
atención, existiendo también un porcentaje menor (16.7%) de puérperas que revelan
haber percibido una buena calidad de atención por parte del profesional de salud
durante su parto.
