Adherencia al tratamiento de la Diabetes con la Depresión según Factores Socio-económicos y Culturales en pacientes del Policlínico Víctor Panta Rodríguez. 2018.

El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la
relación entre la Adherencia al tratamiento de la diabetes mellitus tipo 2
con la depresión según factores socio-económicos y culturales, en
pacientes del Policlínico de Complejidad Creciente Víctor Panta Rodríguez Chimbote 2018.
Para lo cual se realizó un estudio de tipo descriptivo
correlacional y de carácter transversal, la muestra estuvo constituida por
100 pacientes con diagnóstico de Diabetes Mellitus tipo 2 que cumplen con
los criterios de inclusión y exclusión, a quienes se les aplicaron los
siguientes instrumentos: instrumento de recolección de datos, el inventario
de depresión de Beck y el test de Morisky – Green. Se encontró que si
existe relación significativa (p<0.05) de la adherencia al tratamiento con la
depresión, se obtuvo que la tasa más alta estaba en el grupo de Depresión
Leve sin adherencia al tratamiento con un 27%, seguida de la Depresión
moderada con un 15%. Respecto a la adherencia al tratamiento con la
depresión según factores sociales, se obtuvo que hay relación según la
estadística tau de Kendall (t) con corrección, entre la no depresión (normal)
con la adherencia al tratamiento (33 % no adheridos) y el número de hijos
(de 1 a 2 hijos) con una significancia p<0.05. Mientras que no se encontró
relación significativa p<0.05, con los Factores económicos ni culturales.
Se concluye que existe relación significativa (p<0.05) entre la Depresión y
la adherencia al tratamiento de los pacientes con diabetes mellitus 2. Y
también existe relación significativa con los Factores Sociales.
