Evaluación de impacto ambiental de compuestos orgánicos volátiles en los establecimientos de mecánica automotriz

La disponibilidad de información y de herramientas estratégicas en gestión ambiental, para
suelos contaminados con hidrocarburos, presentan un problema cada vez mayor en el mundo
entero, es por ello que se necesita recabar más, para poder contrarrestar este problema. En la
presente investigación se evaluó el impacto que causan dichas sustancias orgánicas en el
ambiente y las personas que hacen uso de estas sustancias, en establecimientos de mecánica
automotriz, mediante la utilización de una encuesta y un método muy conocido que
cromatografía de absorción atómica, para la determinación de metales pesados como el plomo
y cobre en el suelo. Se partió desde la toma de muestra representativa, para posteriormente ser
analizados en el laboratorio de biotecnología. Los resultados arrojaron valores muy
significativos en cuanto a sus características fisicoquímicas como pH y conductividad eléctrica,
lo cual hubo poca alteración de estos parámetros, en cuanto a los niveles de plomo (Pb) y cobre
(Cu) por kilogramos de suelo, parte de ello se determinó en la prueba control un nivel de 1100
mg/kg de suelo de plomo y de cobre un nivel de 1000 mg/kg de muestra de suelo, en el caso de
análisis con agentes químicos (contaminado por COV) se obtuvo un nivel promedio de plomo
(Pb) de 2330 mg/Kg y un nivel de cobre de 2100 mg/Kg de una muestra de suelo.
