En la actualidad el número de menores en situación de abandono en el Perú
que requieren ser protegidos por diferentes instituciones estatales u organizaciones
privadas se incrementa las cifras cada año, según el Programa Integral Nacional
para el Bienestar Familiar (INABIF). La razón causante de tal incremento son el
extravío, orfandad, abandono absoluto, violencia familiar y explotación laboral y
sexual.
La presente tesis de investigación está en el campo de la arquitectura social
vinculada con el servicio social, este proyecto específicamente es un “Centro de
Protección al menor de 5 a 12 años en situación de abandono”, abarca las teorías
del color, de la luz y la arquitectura lúdica es la más predominante dentro del
proyecto, se propone 4 bloques que tienen el concepto del abrazo de una madre
llegando a tender las siguientes zonas: Zona Educativa, Zona Recreativa, Zona
Medica, Zona de Comedor – Cocina, Zona de Descanso, Zona Administrativa, Zona
de Talleres, Ludoteca, Zum, y un Huerto.
Se definió las edades de 5 a 12 años debido a que a esta edad hay mayor
porcentaje de menores trabajando, siendo explotados y abandonados en la calle, y
así con la instrucción que se dará en el centro se podrá contrarrestar con mayor
facilidad los problemas psicológicos que estos menores hayan sufrido.
