La energía eléctrica es el tipo de energía más utilizada en la industria en general y por lo
tanto, representa uno de los rubros con mayores costos en el proceso productivo. Esto genera
una necesidad imperante de buscar su ahorro y hacer un uso eficiente al momento de la
ejecución de la producción.
El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo el demostrar que se puede generar ahorro en el
consumo de energía eléctrica si utilizamos equipos que presentan mayor tecnología en
comparación con los métodos tradicionales que aún se siguen utilizando en la industria, en
este caso el variador de velocidad, muchos de los cuales por un tema económico o de
desinformación haciendo que estos se mantengan vigentes aún en la pequeña y mediana
industria en la región San Martín.
Para llevar a cabo el proyecto se buscó la comparativa básica de ambos contextos, teniendo
como escenario principal la empresa JV INGENIEROS E.I.R.L. y como muestra uno de sus
motores principales. Se hizo uso de equipos certificados para la medición de datos y se
realizaron las pruebas adecuadas para demostrar el ahorro en el consumo de energía eléctrica
que se puede lograr y los beneficios económicos que implica el realizar estos cambios. Se
utilizó la prueba de T apareada para la comprobación de los resultados, los cuales fueron
satisfactorios y en las conclusiones se muestran porcentualmente los ahorros generados en
cada uno de las variables analizadas en el presente trabajo.
