Participación ciudadana y su influencia en la legitimidad del gobierno local del distrito de Papayal en la provincia de Zarumilla – Tumbes, periodo 2017 - 2018
Abstract
Este estudio ha tenido como principal objetivo precisar de qué forma la participación de los
ciudadanos influye en la legitimidad del Distrito de Papayal, Provincia de Zarumilla –
Tumbes, 2017-2018.
Es una investigación que se enmarca dentro de un enfoque cuantitativo, correspondiendo al
tipo de investigación No experimental Descriptiva, transaccional causal. Se tomó como
muestra a la misma población de estudio del distrito de Papayal, todos ellos elegidos de
manera intencional debido a sus características comunes en temas de la participación
ciudadana y legitimidad. Se han aplicado encuestas individuales para el recojo de
información necesaria para la investigación. De los 15 ensayos efectuados como piloto
queriendo verificar si es confiable la herramienta o instrumento se recabó que las
herramientas que estiman la Participación ciudadana y la Legitimidad de Gobierno Local
son confiables. Para analizar la información se hizo uso del método analítico interpretativo,
para lo cual, una vez obtenidos los datos, fue sometido a la depuración, seriación,
codificación y organización en cuadros estadísticos, para posteriormente analizar e
interpretar.
Los resultados enseñan la apreciación de los encuestados sobre los procedimientos de
participación de la ciudadanía, la interacción con los gobernantes y los funcionarios
municipales, que muestran la percepción de los participantes en relación a los
procedimientos de participación ciudadana para mejorar la gobernabilidad. Concluyendo
que la Participación ciudadana, la cultura política, la democracia participativa y la
planeación participativa influyen significativamente en la legitimidad del Distrito de Papayal
en la provincia de Zarumilla - Tumbes, 2017-2018. (p < 0.05).
