Diagnósticos organizacionales en empresas privadas de la ciudad de Trujillo, 2019

El propósito de este estudio es describir los principales diagnósticos organizacionales de las
empresas privadas en la ciudad de Trujillo, Perú durante el año 2019. Las teorías que sustentan
el estudio son el Modelo de Seis Cajas de Marvin R. Weisboard (1978) quien presenta un
modelo basado en seis áreas: estructura, propósito, relaciones, recompensas, mecanismos útiles
y liderazgo y el Modelo McKinsey 7S, presentado en Peters, Thomas J., "The McKinsey 7S
Model" & Waterman Robert H. (2012), ambos ex-consultores de McKinsey, se basa en 7 áreas
críticas: Estructura, estrategia, personas, estilo de gestión, sistemas y procedimientos,
conceptos rectores y valores compartidos, fortalezas o habilidades presentes y esperadas, se
entrevistó a 70 personas entre trabajadores y ejecutivos de empresas privadas de la ciudad de
Trujillo, luego de un muestreo de conveniencia. El tipo de investigación es cualitativa y se
describen 63 diagnósticos organizacionales, de los cuales 3 no se encuentran en la literatura
administrativa. Todos los diagnósticos organizacionales tienen factores internos relacionados
con cada uno de ellos; 49 de los 63 diagnósticos organizacionales tienen factores externos
relacionados. La principal conclusión es que es posible diagnosticar los problemas
organizacionales y queda por continuar con la investigación de las mejores prácticas de las
organizaciones que han abordado los diagnósticos encontrados.
