La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo general Determinar las dosis
óptimas de Policloruro de Aluminio Al2 (OH) 3Cl) y Sulfato de Cobre
Pentahidratado (CuSO4 – 5H2O) para mejorar los procesos de tratamiento de
agua potable en la planta de tratamiento de agua potable de la Universidad
Nacional de Piura – 2017. La unidad de análisis estuvo conformada por los
procesos de tratamiento de agua potable. la variable independiente empleada fue
la Determinar de la Dosis óptima de Policloruro de Aluminio (Al2 (OH) 3Cl) y
Sulfato de Cobre Pentahidratado (CuSO4 – 5H2O) y la variable dependiente
Mejorar los procesos de tratamiento de agua potable en la planta de tratamiento
de agua potable, la técnica empleada en la recolección de datos fue la
observación y el método de prueba de jarras, Las dosis obtenidos tanto de
Policloruro de aluminio como de sulfato de cobre se aplicaron en diferentes
turbiedades para visualizar la reacción en los proceso de tratamiento también se
realizó un monitoreo cada 2 horas de turbiedad de agua cruda para determinar la
curva de dosificación con respecta a cada turbiedad encontrada. Recomiendo que
para una optimo proceso de tratamiento deben realizar una prueba de jarras cada
4horas dependiendo del ambiente ya que el excesivo calor hace que el floc se
rompa y los sedimentadores eleven su turbiedad, por lo que deben mantenerse la
calidad de agua dentro de los estándares permitidos de la calidad de agua por el
Reglamento de la Calidad del Agua para Consumo Humano según D.S N° 031 –
2011 – SA.
