Factores asociados a la adherencia de hierro polimaltosado en niños de 4 – 23 meses de edad de un Centro de Salud de Lima, 2020

El presente estudio es de enfoque cuantitativo, correlacional, de corte transversal,
aplicada; tuvo como objetivo determinar los factores que condicionan a la adherencia de
hierro polimaltosado en niños de 4 – 23 meses de edad de un Centro de Salud de Lima,
2020; tuvo población de 88 madres, la muestra fue escogida por conveniencia siendo un
total de 30 cuidadores a quienes se les administró el test para medir los factores de
adherencia al hierro polimaltosado que tiene una confiabilidad de 0.83 y la fórmula de
adherencia a la administración de hierro polimaltosado de la OMS. Resultados: Los
factores se relacionan significativamente a la adherencia en la administración de hierro
polimaltosado en niños de 4 – 24 meses de edad de un Centro de Salud de Lima, lo que
valida la hipótesis alterna (Hi) evidenciada por un valor p menor o igual a 0.000. La
adherencia a la administración de hierro polimaltosado estuvo presente en un 93% de la
población; respecto a los factores de adherencia un 77% de los menores de edad presentó
factores de adherencia moderada. La dimensión factores asociados al cuidador un 60%
factores de adherencia moderada. En relación con la dimensión factores vinculados con
el medicamento un 66% fue factores de adherencia moderada. Respecto a la dimensión
factores institucionales un 50% fue de adherencia moderada. Se concluye que poseer unos
buenos factores de adherencia al hierro polimaltosado asegura la adherencia al
tratamiento contra la anemia en menores de 4 a 24 meses de edad.
