Calidad de servicio y satisfacción del usuario en el área de servicio social del Hospital de Huaycán en Ate: 2019

El trabajo de investigación que presentamos, consideró como objetivo determinar la relación
entre calidad de servicio y la satisfacción del usuario del área de servicio social del Hospital
de Huaycán en Ate: 2019.
Para este estudio de tipo aplicada y cuantitativa, se utilizó el método hipotético deductivo no
experimental de tipo correlacional, que cuantifica la frecuencia y establece valoración
estadística a las relaciones y correlaciones entre sus variables. La población asciende a 450
usuarios que atiende mensualmente el área de servicio social. La muestra fue del tipo no
probabilística por conveniencia, justificándose por la situación de emergencia sanitaria en
que se encuentra el Perú debido al COVID-19, en total fueron 35 usuarios que colaboraron
con el estudio. El instrumento utilizado fue la encuesta, diseñada bajo la adaptación de la
metodología multidimensional SERVQUAL elaborada por Parasuraman, diseñada para
medir satisfacción de los usuarios externos en empresas de servicios privados, pero esta
metodología se adapta a cualquier tipo de empresas e instituciones de servicio. Para el
análisis inferencial, se empleó el coeficiente de correlación de Rho de Spearman
permitiendo concluir que existe una correlación positiva de intensidad muy fuerte con valor
0.781, entre la satisfacción del usuario con la calidad de servicio que entrega los
colaboradores del área de servicio social, con una significancia estadística de (p<0,05),
permitiéndonos inferir que existe una relación significativa entre calidad de servicio y
satisfacción del usuario del área de servicio social del Hospital de Huaycán en Ate: 2019.
Significa que la calidad de servicio que se está brindando por parte del área de servicio social
satisface en gran medida las expectativas de los usuarios. Se recomendó un plan de mejora
en el proceso de atención y recolección de datos de los usuarios, contribuyendo en la cantidad
y calidad de atenciones, como también mejoras el equipamiento del área.
