Diseño de un bloque de adobe compactado con adición de viruta de madera para mejorar la resistencia a la compresión, Lamas 2020

La presente investigación nace con el interés de evaluar las propiedades fisicas y
mecánicas que le atribuyen la viruta de madera en dosificaciones de 0%, 2.5%, 5%
y 7% al adobe compactado, teniendo como principal objetivo el mejorar la
resistencia a la compresión. Para esto se trajeron los suelos (arcilla, arena y limo)
de cuatro diferentes canteras ubicadas en el departamento de San Martín, provincia
de Lamas, distrito de Lamas, y se obtuvo la viruta de madera marupa con
dimensiones aproximadas a los 2cm2 en el mismo lugar.
Los adobes se realizaron con un molde de madera que nos arrojaría muestras de
30x15x10cm y se realizaron un total de 48 bloques de los cuales se seleccionaron
los 32 que tenían mejores características, estos con el fin de ser ensayados en dos
fechas diferentes distribuidas en 16 muestras a los 14 y 28 días.
Los resultados promedios que se obtuvieron a los 14 días adicionando la viruta de
madera en 0%, 2.5%, 5% y 7% fueron de 6.30 kg/cm2, 7.92 kg/cm2, 10.05 kg/cm2
y 13.08 kg/cm2 respectivamente y los resultados promedios que se obtuvieron a
los 28 días fueron de 8.55 kg/cm2, 11.38 kg/cm2, 16.73 kg/cm2 y 22.05 kg/cm2
respectivamente.
