La presente investigación bajo el título Cobertura periodística en Twitter
sobre la crisis del COVID-19. Caso: Perú21, periodo marzo-julio, 2020; tiene como
objetivo general describir cómo se expone la cobertura periodística sobre la crisis
del COVID-19 en el Twitter de la página oficial de diario Perú21 durante los meses
de marzo a julio de 2020; además tiene como objetivos específicos, analizar cómo
se presenta el contenido, analizar cómo se presenta la información y analizar cómo
se presenta el impacto de las noticias sobre la crisis del COVID-19 en el Twitter del
diario Perú21, durante el mes de marzo a julio de 2020.
Esta indagación corresponde al tipo aplicado, de enfoque cualitativo y con
diseño de estudio de casos. El escenario de estudio es la página oficial en Twitter
del diario Perú21, donde se analizan 28 noticias enfocadas en notas periodísticas
sobre la crisis del COVID-19, desde sus inicios y de cómo han ido avanzando en el
proceso del Estado de Emergencia en el país, durante los meses de marzo a julio
de 2020. El instrumento que se emplea es la guía de observación de contenidos
que describe los atributos propuestos en las subcategorías de la categoría de
investigación. Asimismo, de entrevistas semi-estructuradas, la cual tuvo respaldo
de 3 especialistas con conocimientos en el tema.
Los resultados concluyen que la cobertura periodística en Twitter sobre la
crisis del COVID-19, es adecuada y cumple con su rol de difundir contenidos
informativos sobre los sucesos relacionados al tema de alto impacto que se
presentan en el país, basándose en el compromiso con la verdad y transparencia.
