La presente investigación “Aplicación de las técnicas archivísticas en el control de
las colecciones particulares en la Biblioteca Nacional del Perú (BNP) – Caso
Andrés Avelino Cáceres, 1950-2013, tuvo como objetivo general determinar la
incidencia de los procesos archivísticos durante su custodia como parte del
patrimonio documental de la BNP.
La metodología empleada correspondió a una investigación con un enfoque
cualitativa. Ésta fue de tipo básico, con un alcance descriptivo narrativo. La
población y muestra, estuvo conformada por la población de especialistas y
técnicos que laboran en la Biblioteca Nacional del Perú y la muestra estratificada
la constituyeron 30 trabajadores. A nivel de campo se utilizó una Guía de
Entrevista consistente en una preguntas estándares a realizar a la muestra. Se
hicieron visitas ad hoc para la toma de datos. Llegando a la conclusión de que las
técnicas archivísticas inciden de manera significativa en el control de las
colecciones particulares de la BNP, como en el caso de la Colección de Andrés
Avelino Cáceres, que se ha visto afectado, ya que no fue tratado desde un
enfoque integral incluyendo la aplicación de técnicas archivísticas, evidenciado en
el hecho de que no existe una estandarización del diseño de inventarios, lo que
limita su custodia y consiguiente control.
