Afrontamiento al estrés y agresividad en estudiantes de secundaria de la I.E. Jose Olaya Balandra distrito de Carquin – Huacho 2021

El presente estudio científico fue planeado con el objetivo de determinar la relación
entre afrontamiento y agresividad en alumnos de secundaria de la institución
educativa (I.E.) José Olaya Balandra distrito de Carquín - 2021. Para esto, fue
adoptado un enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental y de nivel descriptivo correlacional. La muestra estuvo constituida por 109 estudiantes de 1ro a 5to de
secundaria de una I.E. pública de Huacho. Los instrumentos empleados para el
levantamiento de la información fueron la Escala de Afrontamiento al Estrés de
Frydenberg (1993) y el Cuestionario de Agresión de Buss & Perry (1992), ambos
adaptados al contexto peruano. Los resultados hallazgos evidenciaron que el
afrontamiento al estrés se correlaciona de manera significativa e inversa (p=0.000;
Rho: -0.615) con la agresividad en adolescentes, siendo dicha relación moderada.
De modo similar, las estrategias de afrontamiento “resolver el problema” (p=0.000;
Rho: -0.410) y “referencia a otros” (p=0.000; Rho: -0.324) también se
correlacionaron inversamente y significativa con la agresividad, pero con intensidad
leve. Por su parte, la estrategia de afrontamiento “no productivo” también se
correlacionó con la agresividad, pero con sentido directo e intensidad leve (p=0.000;
Rho: +0.233). Se concluyó que las estrategias de afrontamiento se correlacionan
con las expresiones de agresividad adolescente.
