Relación entre el conocimiento y actitud de madres adolescentes en el cuidado del recien nacido Hospital Belén de Trujillo 2016.

La presente investigación de enfoque cuantitativo, tuvo como propósito determinar la relación entre el conocimiento y actitud de madres adolescentes en el cuidado del recién nacido Hospital Belén de Trujillo 2016. La población estuvo constituida por 226 Madres adolescentes de 15 a 19 años de edad hospitalizadas del Servicio de Gineco-Obstetricia del Hospital Belén de Trujillo - 2016 y la muestra fue de 87 Madres adolescentes, seleccionada por muestreo probabilístico. Se utilizó la técnica de encuesta, y dos instrumentos: un cuestionario para la medición del Nivel conocimientos de las madres adolescentes; y una Escala de Likert para medir actitudes, ambos instrumentos fueron elaborado por la autora, se aplicaron los criterios de validez de contenido con juicio de expertos y se aplicó la prueba de alfa de Cronbach con resultado aceptable de 0,74 para conocimientos y bueno con 0,89 para actitudes. Según los resultados obtenidos, se afirma que el 67,8% de las madres adolescentes presentan nivel de conocimiento medio, siendo este el 36.8 % No favorable y el 31 % Favorable, el 20,7% nivel de conocimientos Alto con un 12.6% Favorable y 8.1% No favorable, y finalmente el 11.5% nivel de conocimientos bajo con 3.4% No favorable y el 8.1% Favorable. Al aplicar prueba de estadística de Chi cuadrado se puede concluir que no existe una relación significativa entre nivel de conocimiento y actitudes de las madres adolescentes. Por lo tanto el personal de enfermería es quien debe brindar la información precisa y necesaria para que la madre adolescente brinde un buen cuidado a su recién nacido.
