El presente estudio nombrado “Influencia del cloruro de sodio para mejorar el índice de plasticidad
y CBR en la subrasante, vía Huancané – desvió Vilquechico, Puno – 2021” posee el objetivo
principal de mejorar el índice de plasticidad y CBR de la subrasante, al adicionar 5%, 7% y 9%
de cloruro de sodio, en la vía Huancané-desvío Vilquechico, Puno – 2021. La metodología
utilizada es de tipo aplicada, de nivel explicativo y con un diseño experimental con un enfoque
cuantitativo teniendo como variable independiente la “Aplicación de cloruro de sodio” y como
variable dependiente el “Índice plasticidad y CBR de la subrasante” de la carretera Huancané –
desvió Vilquechico.
Los resultados conseguidos mediante los ensayos de los límites de Atterberg y el estudio de la
mecánica de suelos, indican que los valores del índice de plasticidad promedio en el suelo
natural un valor de 10.84% y para el suelo con adiciones de 5%, 7% y 9% de cloruro de sodio,
obtuvieron valores de 9.80%, 8.93% y 7.95% respectivamente, siendo estos menores al del suelo
natural en relación al incremento de adición de cloruro de sodio, asimismo en el ensayo de CBR
al 95%, el suelo natural tiene un valor promedio de 3.68%, y para las adiciones de 5%, 7% y
9%, los cuales obtuvieron un valor de CBR al 95% de 4.54%, 5.33% y 6.28% respectivamente,
donde se observa que existe una mejora en el valor de CBR.
Llegando a la conclusión de que la aplicación del cloruro de sodio influye de manera positiva
en los valores de índice de plasticidad, limite líquido, valor del CBR y la densidad máxima,
capacidad de expansión; haciendo que estas capacidades mejoren para su resistencia a la
compactación.
