Calidad parasitológica del agua de consumo humano, respecto a las parasitosis gastrointestinales en niños entre 1 y 2 años de edad, del distrito de Samegua, departamento de Moquegua – Perú, 2021

Se conoce que más del 90% de las intoxicaciones y transmisión de enfermedades
es a consecuencia de la contaminación microbiológica y parasitológica del agua,
los principales microorganismos que se transmiten a través del agua son los
protozoos (Giardia lamblia) y helmintos (Ascaris lumbricoides y Echinococcus sp.).
El objetivo principal fue determinar la relación de la calidad parasitológica del agua
de consumo humano, con las parasitosis gastrointestinales en niños entre 1 y 2
años de edad. Nuestra investigación fue de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo
correlacional, diseño no experimental, nivel transversal descriptivo simple.
Para ello, se recopiló data histórica de calidad parasitológica del agua, data
histórica de parasitosis gastrointestinal de niños de 1 y 2 años de edad, se realizó
un análisis de calidad parasitológica del agua; habiendo utilizado el método
estadístico de Rho de Spearman para determinación de correlación entre variables.
Finalmente se concluye que no existe relación estadística significativa entre las
variables, calidad parasitológica del agua de consumo humano y parasitosis
gastrointestinales en niños menores de 2 años.
