Teledetección para la estimación de suelos degradados usados en cultivos de maíz del distrito de San Martin, Perú 2022

Esta investigación tiene como objetivo general, aplicar la teledetección para la
estimación de suelos degradados usados en cultivos de maíz del distrito de San
Martín, Perú entre los años 2018 – 2022. El tipo de investigación fue cuantitativa,
el diseño fue no experimental, se usó una muestra de 10 parcelas de 5 hectáreas
cada una y para tal fin, se empleó la teledetección, se estimaron los suelos
degradados, usados en cultivos de maíz del distrito de San Martín, asimismo se
realizaron análisis fisicoquímicos de suelos y en relación a imágenes satelitales
obtenidas de los años 2002 a 2022 mediante los índices de degradación del suelo
y la cobertura vegetal del área de estudio de 638 hectáreas, se hizo la estimación
correspondiente a los cambios en la extensión de la degradación. Donde los
resultados indicaron que los porcentajes de degradación del suelo por año fueron
para el 2002 un total de 0.7322%, 2006 un porcentaje de 1.1449%, 2010 un total
de 1.0751%, 2014 un total de 7.9265%, 2018 un total de 1.2353% y 2022 un total
de 4.7810% de cambios en la calidad de los suelos, lo cual señala que la
teledetección es una herramienta válida para la medición de suelos degradados.
