Métodos para la activación de los persulfatos peroximonosulfato y peroxidisulfato por materiales carbonosos para la eliminación de contaminantes orgánicos del suelo: Revisión sistemática

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar cuáles son los métodos usados para
la activación de persulfatos por materiales carbonosos, para lo cual realizó la búsqueda
y recolección de 95 estudios científicos, los cuales se seleccionaron mediante el uso
del método de análisis documental y la ficha de recolección de datos, donde:
De acuerdo con los materiales carbonosos para la eliminación de contaminantes
orgánicos del agua se tiene que los catalizadores de materiales de carbono libres de
metales en la producción de radicales sulfatos han presentado óptimos resultados,
demostrándose que estos materiales son alternativas prometedoras a los
catalizadores basados en metales convencionales. Además, los materiales
carbonosos para eliminar contaminantes orgánicos del agua son el biochar y el carbón
activado; siendo esto demostrado por el 60% de los investigadores. Se puede concluir
que las actividades catalíticas de los materiales carbonosos mejoran
significativamente tras el dopaje con los heteroátomos, además, el dopaje de
heteroátomos en los materiales carbonosos mejora significativamente la actividad
catalítica del peroximonosulfato (PMS) y peroxidisulfato (PDS) para eliminar los
contaminantes orgánicos. Por último, los compuestos metálicos novedosos y
respetuosos con el medio ambiente soportados en carbono son deseables para la
activación de PMS/PDS, sustancias de hierro son las más usados como activadores
de PMS/PDS y los porcentajes de degradación son mayores al 90%, ello debido a que
la gran superficie y la alta estabilidad de los materiales de carbono los hacen ideales
para actuar como soportes de metales de transición.
