Sexismo ambivalente y actitudes hacia la homosexualidad en estudiantes universitarios de Lima metropolitana, 2022

La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre el sexismo
ambivalente y actitudes hacia la homosexualidad en estudiantes universitarios de
Lima Metropolitana, 2022. El tipo de investigación utilizado fue correlacional y diseño
no experimental. La muestra estuvo conformada por 400 estudiantes de ambos
géneros, de todas las carreras. Se utilizaron el Inventario de Sexismo ambivalente
(ISA) y la Escala de Actitud hacia la Homosexualidad (EAH-10). Los resultados
muestran que el sexismo ambivalente y las actitudes hacia la homosexualidad
presentan una correlación media positiva (Rho=,203, p<,05), con un tamaño de efecto
pequeño (r2 = ,041). Asimismo, las correlaciones por dimensiones entre sexismo
ambivalente y las dimensiones de actitudes hacia la homosexualidad demuestran una
correlación media negativa con la primera dimensión (Rho=-,371, p<05) y una
correlación positiva considerable con la segunda dimensión (Rho=,615). De igual
manera, las correlaciones entre actitudes hacia la homosexualidad y las dimensiones
de entre sexismo ambivalente muestran una correlación media positiva (Rho=,210) y
una correlación media negativa (Rho=-,198). Se concluye que, a mayor sexismo
ambivalente en los universitarios, mayor serán las actitudes de rechazo hacia la
homosexualidad.
