La presente investigación utilizo las variables de Violencia Familiar y
Habilidades Sociales; el tipo de estudio de investigación fue no experimentaltransversal, del tipo aplicada, correlacional. La población estuvo conformada por los
adolescentes (353) del 3°, 4° y 5° del nivel de secundaria de una Institución
Educativa del distrito El Agustino, utilizando una muestra no probabilística por
conveniencia. Así mismo los objetivos fueron, determinar la relación de la violencia
familiar con las habilidades sociales de los adolescentes; como también identificar la
relación de la violencia familiar tipo psicológica y física con las habilidades sociales,
además identificar la relación entre la violencia familiar y las dimensiones de las
habilidades sociales. Los resultados revelan relaciones inversa, baja y significativa
[rs= -.284**, p = <.001] entre violencia familiar y habilidades sociales. De igual
manera violencia familiar de tipo psicológica y habilidades sociales [rs= -.237**, p =
<.001], también una relación caracterizada por ser inversa, baja y significativa [rs= -
.245**, p = <.001] entre violencia familiar de tipo física y las habilidades sociales, de
igual manera entre la violencia familiar y las dimensiones de las habilidades sociales.
