La alimentación y el rendimiento académico en el área de matemática de los estudiantes del segundo grado de educación secundaria de la institución educativa Divino Maestro Segunda Jerusalén, Elías Soplín Vargas, Rioja, 2019

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre la alimentación
y el rendimiento académico en el área matemática de estudiantes del segundo grado de
educación secundaria, institución educativa Divino Maestro Segunda Jerusalén y como
específicos los hábitos de alimentación, tipo de alimentos que consumen y la armonía en
los alimentos. Se elaboró una encuesta previamente diseñada de acuerdo a los objetivos
trazados para los estudiantes. Se consideró una muestra de 29 estudiantes de las cuales el
52% son hombres y el 48% son mujeres, el tipo de investigación es no experimental,
descriptiva correlacional de corte transversal, se aplicó la estadística t-Student. Se
determinó que existe relación significativa entre la alimentación y el rendimiento
académico en el área matemática, en los estudiantes del segundo grado A, al nivel de
significancia del 5%, existiendo una correlación positiva considerable de r = 0.662; con
respecto a los hábitos alimenticios que presentan los adolescentes se encuentran en el nivel
medio con el 31.03%; en el aspecto sociocultural de los alimentos los estudiantes se
posicionaron en el nivel medio el 34.48% y en armonía de los alimentos en el nivel medio
con el 51.72%; y el rendimiento académico se encontró en el nivel medio el 55.17%.
Además cabe resaltar que se debe a que no toman desayuno antes de ir a clases, así mismo
no realizan las tres comidas diarias, no almuerzan a la misma hora y por último no respetan
los horarios de comida.
