Determinación de tipos de cobertura vegetal mediante índices espectrales usando teledetección, Reserva Nacional de Lachay, 2020

El objetivo principal de la presente tesis es determinar los tipos de cobertura vegetal
mediante índices espectrales usando teledetección en la Reserva Nacional de Lachay;
previo a la ejecución del trabajo de gabinete, se realizó la toma de datos in-situ
(georreferenciación y fotografías de especies presentes en la visita) para poder aplicar
el método de clasificación supervisada. Para el trabajo de gabinete; primero, se
descargaron imágenes sentinel-2 en la página Copérnicus, las cuales pasaron por
calibración atmosférica con la finalidad de adaptar los valores reales de cada pixel
minimizando los fallos reflejados en el momento de la captura de la imagen; segundo,
se aplicó la corrección atmosférica en el programa ENVI para reducir los efectos de
distorsión de la imagen ocasionado por la presencia de nubes y/o neblina, teniendo
como resultado una imagen de mejor calidad (nitidez), finalmente los índices
espectrales (índice de vegetación de diferencia normalizada – NDVI y el índice de agua
de diferencia normalizada – NDWI) trabajaron con los puntos de muestreo para el
identificar las especies presentes en los diferentes tipos de cobertura vegetal.
Se determinó 17 especies vegetales, con las cuales se identificaron las coberturas
vegetales en la Reserva Nacional de Lachay, los cuales son: desierto, loma de
tillandsias, loma de nostoc, loma de stenomesson, loma de herbáceas, loma tipo
parque, loma de paredes rocosas, loma de musgos y líquenes y loma de cactáceas.
