El presente trabajo de investigación aborda el estudio de la interrelación de la
Asimetría Informativa, Publicidad Engañosa y el Principio de Soberanía del
consumidor como parte de las relación existente entre el proveedor y el consumidor,
en el marco del desarrollo del Derecho del Consumidor, el mismo que trata de
demostrar que la publicidad engañosa influye de manera negativa en la aplicación
del principio de soberanía del consumidor afectando la asimetría informativa dentro
de las relaciones de consumo; para lograr dicho resultado, se procedió a hacer un
análisis de las resoluciones y precedentes vinculantes resueltos por INDECOPI y
los órganos de justicia a quienes les corresponde el conocimiento de esta materia
a fin de que podamos llegar a estudiar cuales son los criterios que se adoptan para
resolver dichas controversias, en ese sentido, llegar a demostrar que el
planteamiento del problema que se generó en el presente proyecto, corresponde a
la hipótesis que se formuló en el mismo.
