“Hábitos de estudio y estilos de aprendizaje en los estudiantes del nivel secundario de la I.E Juan Jiménez. Tarapoto, 2017”

El presente estudio tuvo como pregunta de investigación ¿Qué relación existe entre los
hábitos de estudio y los estilos de aprendizaje de los estudiantes del 4° y 5° grado del nivel
secundario de la I.E. Juan Jiménez Pimentel. Tarapoto? El objetivo general consistió en
determinar la relación que existe entre los hábitos de estudio y estilos de aprendizaje de los
estudiantes del 4° y 5° grado del nivel secundario. Se utilizó un diseño no experimental de
corte transversal y de tipo descriptivo correlacional. Participaron 188 estudiantes del 4° y 5°
grado de secundaria de la I.E Juan Jiménez, los mismos que fueron seleccionados mediante
el muestreo aleatorio simple. A la muestra se le aplicó el inventario de Hábitos de estudios
(CASM-versión adaptada por Upiachihua, 2012) para describir sus hábitos de estudios. Por
otro lado, se utilizó el inventario de Estilos de aprendizaje (CHAEA) de Honey y Alonso,
para conocer sus estilos de aprendizaje. Finalmente se concluye que el nivel de hábitos de
estudio de los estudiantes del 4° y 5° grado de secundaria de la I.E Juan Jiménez, son la
tendencia a positivo con 30%, seguido del nivel positivo con 21%. Asimismo, los estilos de
aprendizaje predominantes en la muestra son, el reflexivo con 37%, seguido del pragmático
con 30%. Luego de los procedimientos estadísticos realizados se afirma que no existe
relación significativa (valor p=0,197) entre los hábitos de estudio y los estilos de aprendizaje
de los estudiantes del 4° y 5° grado de secundaria de la I.E Juan Jiménez.
