El estudio tiene como objetivo determinar la relación entre el nivel de
conocimiento de las madres sobre estimulación temprana y el grado de
desarrollo psicomotor del niño de 12 meses del Hospital San Juan Bautista de
Huaral Octubre - Diciembre 2012.
El Estudio es de tipo cuantitativo de corte transversal, el diseño es no
experimental; se tomo como muestra a 100 madres con sus respectivos niños
de 12 meses, que acuden al consultorio de crecimiento y desarrollo, para
recolectar los datos se utilizó como técnica la entrevista a través del
instrumento el cual fue un cuestionario de preguntas cerradas, y se realizó la
evaluación del desarrollo psicomotor a cada niño aplicando el Test Peruano.
Los resultados fueron respecto a los conocimientos de las madres sobre
estimulación temprana, un 68 % tienen un nivel de conocimiento bajo y un 7%
tienen un conocimiento alto. En cuanto al desarrollo psicomotor del niño un
82% tiene desarrollo normal y un 18% tienen Trastorno en el desarrollo. Con
respecto a la correlación nos indica que existe una relación negativa y
significativa entre el nivel de conocimiento de las madres y el grado de
desarrollo psicomotor en un -0.246.
Se concluye finalmente que el nivel de conocimiento de las madres
sobre estimulación temprana es bajo y su grado de desarrollo psicomotor de
niño es normal, por lo tanto no se puede comprobar la hipótesis.
