Satisfacción con la vida y ansiedad ante la muerte en personal de salud de Lima Metropolitana

El objetivo principal fue determinar la relación entre satisfacción con la vida y ansiedad
ante la muerte en personal de salud de Lima Metropolitana. La metodología es tipo
básica, de diseño no experimental, descriptiva–correlacional y de corte transversal.
Contando con una muestra de 386 colaboradores a través de un muestreo no
probabilístico. Utilizando la Escala de Satisfacción con la Vida (SWSL, Diener et al.,
1985) y la Escala Ansiedad ante la Muerte (DAS, Rivera y Montero, 2009). Como
resultado evidencio una correlación inversa débil entre las variables estudiadas con un
valor de rho = -.338, así como satisfacción con la vida y las variables de ansiedad ante
la muerte, expresadas en, miedo a la muerta, miedo a la agonía o a la enfermedad y
miedo a que la vida llegue a su fin (rho = -.304, -.306, -.316). Por otro lado, se encontró
que el 60.4% tiene alta satisfacción con la vida y el 47.2% tiene bajo nivel de ansiedad
ante la muerte, se observó una diferencia significa respectoal grupo de 1 a 12 años. En
conclusión, se ha observado que la satisfacción con la vida podría actuar como factor
protector.
