Mantenimiento basado en condición por ultrasonido y vibración, para mejorar la confiabilidad de ventilador de tiro forzado de una caldera

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo, analizar el impacto del mantenimiento
basado en la condición por ultrasonido y vibración, en la confiabilidad del ventilador
de tiro forzado de una caldera, en ingenio azucarero de La Libertad. La metodología
empleada fue de tipo aplicada con diseño preexperimental. Los resultados
determinaron que la confiabilidad actual del ventilador de tiro forzado es 76.86%,
con un tiempo de reparación de 433.45 horas pérdidas y 141 intervenciones, en 6
meses de evaluación del historial de mantenimiento. Para la simulación del
mantenimiento basado en la condición por vibración y ultrasonido, se empleó el
software ANSYS, encontrando una velocidad de vibración de 5.9822 mm/s y
aceleración de 3.7695 g. Para revertir esta situación se propusieron distintas
acciones a los elementos críticos como: aspas del ventilador, ejes, acoplamientos,
rodamientos y cimientos/soportes. Obteniendo valores de velocidad de 1.4516
mm/s y aceleración de 0.3052 g, aceptables por la norma ISO 10816. La reducción
de la vibración en el ventilador de tiro forzado permitió aumentar la confiabilidad a
82.96%, reduciendo el 69% del tiempo de reparación y el 74% de las intervenciones
por vibración. Se concluye que la aplicación del mantenimiento basado en la
condición es viable con un beneficio/costo de 17.
