OBJETIVO: Determinar los factores de riesgo de infecciones de transmisión sexual en
adolescentes de quinto grado de secundaria en la institución educativa José Martí, Comas
Lima 2018. MATERIAL Y METODO: Investigación cuantitativa, descriptiva no
experimental RESULTADOS: La mayoría de estudiantes de la Institución educativa José
Martí el 74% son sexualmente activos, el 26% de los estudiantes no son sexualmente
activos. La dimensión conocimiento no constituye factor de riesgo para la adquisición de
Infecciones de transmisión sexual en los adolescentes 60% , el mayor porcentaje tuvo un
nivel alto de conocimientos sobre las ITS. La mayoría de los adolescentes no tienen factores
de riesgo para adquirir ITS, solo tuvieron una pareja sexual el 62% , evitan parejas sexuales
casuales 54% , no practican sexo anal 62% u oral 57% , utilizan condón 57% y se colocaron
condón antes del primer coito 51% . El factor sexual de riesgo es el consumo de alcohol
antes de la primera relación sexual 76% .CONCLUSIONES: El nivel de conocimiento no
es un factor de riesgo para adquirir infecciones de transmisión sexual en adolescentes de la
institución educativa. El sexo seguro, la monogamia son practicados por la mayoría de los
adolescentes, por lo que no son factores de riesgo para adquirir ITS. El consumo de alcohol
antes del coito, es un factor de riesgo para adquirir infecciones de transmisión sexual, en la
mayoría de los adolescentes de la institución educativa.
