Políticas públicas en movilidad urbana sostenible para prevenir contagios por COVID-19, Trujillo 2021

El presente estudio tuvo como finalidad establecer las bases para implementar una
política pública de movilidad urbana sostenible en tiempos de Covid-19, se sustenta
en la normatividad internacional y nacional vigente, experiencias exitosas de otros
países, la opinión de especialistas y lo expresado por la población del distrito de
Trujillo. Es de corte transversal, descriptivo y para ello se ha utilizado la
complementariedad metodológica, al contar con la aplicación de encuestas a una
muestra de 384 personas y entrevistas a profundidad a nueve especialistas. Los
datos fueron procesados mediante SPSS-26 y ATLAS.ti v9; entre los hallazgos se
observa que el 83.3% de los ciudadanos están dispuestos a utilizar la bicicleta; el
87.2% señalan la necesidad de implementar ciclovías; y el 91.1% destacan que
este tipo de movilidad previene el contagio de la Covid-19. Se concluye con la
necesidad de generar una política pública para el uso de la bicicleta como medio
de transporte urbano y como una forma efectiva de proteger la salud.
