Concordancia entre dos métodos cefalométricos para determinar el biotipo facial en usuarios de un Centro Radiológico de Ayacucho, 2019-2020

El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar la concordancia entre dos métodos
cefalométricos para determinar el biotipo facial en usuarios de un Centro
Radiológico, Ayacucho 2019-2020. El estudio fue de tipo básico, observacional,
retrospectivo, transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 100 radiografías
cefalométricas laterales de pacientes de 12 a 30 años. Los biotipos faciales fueron
clasificados en dólicofacial, mesofacial y braquifacial. La relación entre estas dos
variables se realizó mediante el estadístico de Kappa de Cohen. Los resultados
muestran un Kappa=0,115 (p=0,058); el biotipo más predominante de acuerdo con
el Vert de Ricketts fue el mesofacial con 36% y según el ratio de Jaraback fue
braquifacial con 63%, el promedio de Vert de Ricketts fue de 0,006 y el promedio
del ratio de Jaraback fue 65,87. La investigación concluye que no existe
concordancia entre los dos métodos cefalométricos.
