La investigación se desarrolló con el objetivo general de estudiar el impacto en el
desarrollo económico de los sectores agricultura, minería y turismo en las provincias de
Huamanga y La Mar tras la rehabilitación y mejoramiento de la carretera Quinua-San
Francisco Tramo I en el año 2014.
Es una investigación de tipo ex post facto, no experimental, comparativo, causal,
transversal; que se analizó en dos momentos: pre y pos test, es decir antes de la
rehabilitación y mejoramiento de la carretera (se fijó el año 2010) y después de la misma
(año 2014).
Las técnicas utilizadas fueron la recopilación y análisis de datos secundarios que se
fundamentaron en información recolectada por otras personas distintas a la investigadora.
Para este caso, los datos recolectados y analizados fueron estadísticos provenientes de
fuentes oficiales compendiadas por instituciones, organismos y municipios.
Finalmente, la investigación concluyó probando que el desarrollo económico de los
sectores agricultura, minería y turismo de las provincias de Huamanga y La Mar sufrieron
un impacto económico positivo tras la rehabilitación y mejoramiento de la carretera
Quinua-San Francisco en el año 2014; esto se refiere a que la hipótesis general se satisface.
