Violencia familiar, procrastinación académica y expectativas de futuro en estudiantes de secundaria de Trujillo

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre violencia
familiar, procrastinación académica y expectativas de futuro, en estudiantes de
secundaria de Trujillo. El trabajo fue de tipo básico, no experimental, transversal y
de alcance correlativo; para dicho trabajo la población estuvo conformada por 425
estudiantes de secundaria, con edades que oscilan entre los 12 y 17 años. Los
instrumentos utilizados fueron el Cuestionario de Violencia Familiar (VIFA) de
origen peruano, elaborado y validado por Altamirano y Castro (2012); la Escala de
Procrastinación Académica, originaria y validada en el Perú por Domínguez, et al.
(2014); y la Escala de Expectativas de Futuro creados por Sánchez y Verdugo
(2016) en España; dichas pruebas fueron validadas a través de la confiabilidad del
método ítem test, todo ello procesado en el programa SPSS. Finalmente se halló
que existe una correlación negativa muy significativa (p<.01), entre las variables de
violencia familiar y expectativas de futuro; de la misma manera, se halló el mismo
tipo de correlación entre la variable de procrastinación académica y violencia
familiar. En cuanto a los niveles, se evidenció que, en los estudiantes, prevalece el
nivel bajo (82.8% - 88.7%) de violencia familiar; el nivel medio de procrastinación
académica y sus dimensiones (44.0% - 74.8%); y el nivel alto de expectativas de
futuro y sus dimensiones (48.2% - 78.8%)
