Evaluación de tratamientos biológicos y producto químico para la desinfección de semillas en un ecotipo de Gossypium barbadense L. (algodón nativo), Chiclayo

Se evaluó la desinfección de semillas con tratamientos biológicos y tratamiento
químico en un ecotipo de Gossypium barbadense L., (algodón nativo). La
investigación fue de tipo aplicada, pre experimental, con una población de 180
semillas, cuatro indicadores de evaluación (germinación, mortandad, altura de
planta y longitud de raíz), haciendo uso de la técnica descriptiva para variables
cuantitativas.
Iniciando, se describió las características germinativas de las semillas de cuatro
ecotipos, obteniendo mejores resultados en el crema (49 % germinación), con la
cual se determinó la capacidad de desinfección de los tratamientos en las semillas,
a nivel de invernadero, donde: Trichoderma harzianum mostró eficacia de (38.9 %
germinación), Trichoderma viride (38.9 % germinación) y el producto químico (55.6
% germinación). Finalizando, se estableció un comparativo entre los indicadores de
los tratamientos, señalando que T. harzianum presentó mejor resultado que T.
viride respecto a altura de planta y longitud de raíz, mientras que el producto
químico presentó en los cuatro indicadores una mejor eficacia que T. harzianum.
Se concluyó que el producto químico tuvo mejores resultados sin gran diferencia
ante un tratamiento biológico, recordando que el impacto que genera este tipo de
desinfección afecta con el tiempo a nuestros recursos naturales, a diferencia de
los tratamientos biológicos, que también presentan eficiencia y no genera un
impacto ambiental negativo.
