Uso de un biorreactor para el tratamiento anaerobio con diferentes tipos de pH para reducir DQO y DBO del lactosuero residual

El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo principal, reducir la demanda química de
oxígeno y la demanda biológica de oxígeno del lactosuero residual, ya que
estudios anteriores señalan que tiene una alta carga orgánica biodegradable que
al ser vertidos en cualquier cuerpo de agua, genera condiciones poco favorable
para el desarrollo de plantas y animales tanto acuáticos como terrestres. Por tal
motivo se desarrolló un estudio experimental a nivel laboratorio, Se obtuvo una
muestra de 4 L con una concentración inicial de DQO de 30633 mg/L, DBO de
7997.6 mg/L y un pH de 4.24. Luego de ellos se procedió a tomar 8 muestras de
del suero de leche, 4 de ellas de 250ml y las 4 restantes de 500ml, seguido de
ellos se procedió a ajustar los pH en medio ácido y medio básico, dándoles
tratamiento anaeróbico de 48 horas en birreactores. Finalizado el proceso, los
resultados indicaron que; la muestra de DQO ajustada a pH 7, obtuvo la mayor
reducción de DQO con un resultado de 1629.68 mg/L y la muestra de DBO
ajustada a pH 6 obtuvo la mayor reducción de DBO con un resultado de 1110
mg/L. Para el análisis estadístico se utilizó en programa estadístico MATHCAD
