The adaptation of educational institutions to the virtual environment, typical of the
changes brought about by the health crisis in 2020, had the purpose of improving
educational quality through the use and application of digital tools. That is why the
purpose of this research was to determine the impact that digital transformation
generates on the work performance of employees of a private university in Peru and
thereby improve educational quality. For this purpose, articles from prestigious
journals and theoretical bases of digital transformation and job performance were
analyzed, such as the national contribution by Bazzo et al. (2022) where the creation
of virtual tools was promoted for better management of educational institutions and
the recent publication by Pereira & Malagri (2023) where it was demonstrated that
digital transformation significantly impacts the teaching-learning process, in the
same way They proposed theoretical bases regarding the main study variables.
Said this way, the main objective of the article is to determine the influence of digital
transformation on job performance within the higher education sector, 2023.
Likewise, the methodology used in the study was applied correlational and nonexperimental in the which a survey was applied to 104 workers (school heads,
teachers and a director) of the university nationwide out of a total population of 144.
The result showed the strong relationship between the study variables and the
acceptance of the null hypotheses.
