Evaluación superficial del pavimento flexible en la Avenida Metropolitana - Ate, Lima - 2021.

La presente investigación se ha elaborado con el objetivo principal de desarrollar el
examen superficial del asfalto en un segmento de la Av. Metropolitana mediante la
aplicación de la técnica (PCI), para tener conocimiento del estado del actual asfalto
flexible.
La técnica (PCI); Comprende la ruta más completa para la evaluación de objetivos
y la capacidad de los asfaltos, siendo ampliamente recibida y reconocida de manera
oficial como un sistema normalizado, y ha sido distribuida por la ASTM como una
estrategia para su análisis y aplicación. Ha sido creado para obtener una lista de la
verticalidad subyacente del pavimento y el estado operativo superficial, valor que
evalúa el estado del asfalto para su particular tratamiento y soporte.
La metodología empleada ha sido el método científico no experimental, de tipo
aplicativa y con un enfoque cuantitativo.
Se resolvió que no se ha examinado el 100% de la vía; por consiguiente, con el uso
del sistema PCI, distinguiendo los límites de análisis, eligiendo el archivo de
condición y obteniendo el estado del pavimento, por fin es posible realizar la
evaluación del pavimento de asfalto para lograr la condición necesaria de las vías
de las infraestructuras bajo investigación.
Al completar el examen superficial del asfalto flexible utilizando la estrategia del
Índice de Condición del Pavimento, en un segmento de la Av. Metropolitana se
observó que la media de PCI para la totalidad de los tramos otorga un valor de 28,
lo cual se considera como un estado MALO con respecto a la catalogación del
método PCI.
