El Aprendizaje basado en problemas para mejorar las capacidades de matemática en los estudiantes de formación tecnológica, Chocope 2019

El propósito de este estudio es determinar si la aplicación de metodologías de aprendizaje basadas
en problemas (ABP) puede mejorar las habilidades matemáticas de los estudiantes en el ciclo II
del Programa de estudios Contable del Instituto Tecnológico Público (Chocope, 2019). Utiliza
un diseño cuasi experimental y tiene un total de 185 estudiantes en ocupaciones tales como
producción agrícola, mecánica de producción, enfermería técnica, técnicos farmacéuticos,
informática, y contabilidad. La muestra incluyó a 63 estudiantes, de los cuales 31 eran del grupo
experimental (contabilidad) y 32 del grupo de control (computación). La prueba de habilidad
matemática fue verificada por tres expertos con doctorados, y su confiabilidad fue determinada
por el coeficiente de Kuder Richarson con un valor de 0.85. Los resultados de la prueba previa
del grupo experimental mostraron que estaban en un nivel pobre y buenos niveles después de la
prueba. En contraste, el grupo control estaba en niveles normales antes y después de la prueba.
Las pruebas de Wilcoxon muestran que los programas de aprendizaje basados en problemas
mejorarán significativamente las habilidades matemáticas de los estudiantes de contabilidad.
