La presente investigación tiene como objetivo, establecer la relación o correspondencia entre los hábitos alimenticios y el rendimiento académico en el área de ciencia tecnología y ambiente en estudiantes de 1er. y 2do. Grado de educación secundaria.
Este estudio de investigación se realizó en la Institución Educativa “Don José de San Martin”-Huaral, con una población de 140 estudiantes y una muestra de 80 estudiantes, las edades son entre 11 y 12 años de edad. Este estudio de investigación es investigación básica, ya que se estableció la relación que existe entre los hábitos alimenticios y el rendimiento académico.
Los datos estadísticos que sostienen esta investigación se da de los resultados obtenidos por la aplicación de los instrumentos, y validado de los diferentes profesionales de acuerdo al área, que se estudió. Los resultados demostraron que si existe relación entre las variables estudiadas llegando a la conclusión que el nivel de práctica de Hábitos Alimenticios de los estudiantes del 1er. y 2°do. de educación secundaria en el área de C.T.A, en la I.E. N° 20793 ”Libertador Don José de San Martin”-Huaral, tiene una tendencia al nivel positivo (50%). Y El nivel de Rendimiento Académico de los estudiantes del 1er. y 2do. de educación secundaria en el área de C.T.A, en la I.E. N° 20793 ”Libertador Don José de San Martin”-Huaral, tiene una tendencia al nivel logro previsto (69%).
